We will be reopening the tea room on Thursday 3rd June if everything goes to plan.
While i know we can open outside from April 12th and May 17th inside, we decided with how unpredictable the British weather is it would be safer to open when we can allow people to sit indoors. We are also giving a 2 week gap for the rush of being able to eat indoors to ease a bit.
We are open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10.30am - 3pm.
There is a time limits of 1 hour 30 minutes on tables to give others a chance.
We are sorry but we can only take groups of 5 people or less due to the size of our tea room.
Dogs are welcome outside on our patio area. As much as we adore dogs, our tea room is too small to enable us to allow dogs inside.
Many Thanks
Stephen, Avril and Rosie
A family-run tea room where you’re sure to receive a warm welcome. The friendly owners have cultivated a cosy ambience in the quaint surroundings of a converted stable. The popularity of this charming venue is undoubtedly due to the sublime quality of the home-made food, where even the bread is made on the premises.
This commitment to producing only the freshest food means this is not a fast-food venue but is well worth the wait. Once visited, this is a place to which you will surely return.
We have carefully selected Northumberland Tea and Pumphrey's Coffee as our main drink suppliers because of their incredible quality. Served along side a variety of homemade cakes, breads, and light lunches (ranging from quiches and soups, to ploughman's and sandwiches).
Dogs are welcome outside on the patio area. As much as we adore dogs, our tea room is too small to enable us to allow dogs inside.
Parking is very easy with our own car park, making it great to stop off without the worry of finding a space. We are only a few minutes from the A1 meaning you can pull off with ease and back on from both directions.
